About Us: The Creation of the J Rodie Hope Alliance
I would appreciate the opportunity to tell you about myself and a very special project that I am working on.  Also, to tell you how God has opened doors and confirmed that this is where I am to be and what He would have me doing.

First, allow me to introduce myself and explain my mission.  My name is Jason Rodie, I am a 26 year old with mild Cerebral Palsy.  My mission is to demonstrate to others that they don't have to accept their condition as limiting and instead they can open up a world of possibilities.

About a year and a half ago I was praying for God to give me direction for my Life.  When He answered, I knew it was just what I was searching for.  I was going to change my present physical condition, my spiritual condition and my mental state.  I knew that the limitations people placed on my having Cerebral Palsy were not what God wanted.  Instead, He wanted me to know that with Him, there were no limitations.

I could improve my physical condition, through prayer and positive input and change my life.  I always believed that with physical conditioning and prayer that I could strengthen my body and mind and do what others said I couldn't.  People thought I should accept my condition and learn to operate within it's boundaries.  God said to look outside the box.  That He wanted me to make the changes in myself, document and video tape it and then share it with others, with mild limiting physical handicaps.

Then, the ultimate goal is to have a camp for kids to come and learn the program and change their lives forever, with unlimited possibilities, learn for themselves how to implement what God taught me and let them see that all things are possible and that they can believe that it is possible to go beyond the limitations others believe exist, with their condition.

So, I have stepped out in Faith and am determined to fulfill God's dream for me.  I prayed for God to close the door if this was not the direction He would have me go in.  But God, continued to open door after door, to confirm to me that I was right where He wanted me to be.  He opened the door for my workout to begin in March of this year.  It has been incredible and already I have made progress.

I have begun video taping my workouts and journaling the whole process. I have been searching for sponsors to finance the workout.  In the meantime, to pay my bills, I have been working with 2 kids with disabilities.  One has a chromosome deficiency and the other a brain injury.  As part of my training I do:

  1. Physical training
  2. Massage therapy
  3. Physical therapy
  4. Water workouts
  5. Boxing
  6. Strength shoes

*The severity of CP is different with all of us, please don't jump into any of the workouts above without a proper physical examination first to make sure none of these training methods will result in injury.

This is very time consuming and yet I still need to have more money to pay for my cost of living.  I trust God and therefore, keep moving forward.  It is by His grace that I am able to see this dream come true.  I am 26 and just learning that I don't have to accept the limitations that come with Cerebral Palsy.

To be able to share that with a young child and see their eyes open up to the possibilities at their young age...what a difference that will make in their lives.  What a blessing that will be.  The ultimate goal is to have a camp for kids to come and learn the program and change their lives forever, with unlimited possibilities.

Let me close by saying that I will never give up on what God has begun.  I trust that what He started He will complete. This is an opportunity to show support that will inevitably benefit so many kids.  I greatly appreciate your time and consideration.

Thank you and God Bless.

Sincerely,

Jason Rodie
