Mission Statement

To create and employ a program that enables abilities through the mechanisms and fortitude of a person who is contracted with Cerebral Palsy.

Our vision is to be leaders on the path to a functioning contributing able Cerebral Palsy body. And to reveal in the eyes of people with Cerebral Palsy HOPE which ultimately portrays "I too can now triumph over Cerebral Palsy".

We will accomplish this by putting to action a routine program that includes therapy, conditioning and nutrition.

We value the personable rights of any human to be leaders of their lives into create a life that brings forth our own God given strengths of achievements and to reach beyond the environmental discretions in beliefs of I can't to "I can and will".

Shari Brabrook

My name is Shari Brabrook. I am 44 and I live in Louisville, Kentucky. I have 2 children; a daughter 20 and a son who is 17. I am also a grandmother of a beautiful little boy, Braden, he is 5 months old. I have been a widow for 3 years now and was married for 17 years.

I worked as an accountant, for 10 years, keeping records for approximately 4 clients. I did this at home while raising my children. I believed that being home with them was the most important thing. Giving a child a good start, with a strong foundation is priceless.

If they have the right tools, they can grow up believing they can do anything they set their minds to and confidence to do it. I think it is important that every person find out what their passion is and incorporate that into their lives, even if just in a small way. They reward is worth the cost.

I currently work at UPS as in International Rep. I work with customs to help get packages cleared or the information to help get them delivered. It is interesting, but not my passion. I feel so fortunate to be able to be a part of J Rodie Hope Alliance. I share with the others a vision and passion to help kids. Jason has taken a God given dream and made it real. It is with great pride that I am able to share in this journey with him.

I can see so many kids being given tools and knowledge to change their lives. To be even a small part of that is truly a Blessing. This alliance will only continue to grow with time. The Kid's Camp is something I am really excited to see become reality. When the training phase and book and video are finished, I see the camp starting.

This is going to help so many kids see there real potential. To develop skills and tools to change there present situation. This will vary in degree based on the individual kids but regardless, it will change every one of them. This is not the end result though. There are many branches of involvement that J Rodie Hope Alliance will reach. Developing hope and optimism in a child will change there future and give them a stronger foundation to grow with. This is what I want to be a part of.

I believe that the J Rodie Hope Alliance is going to become a very large and recognized group that will have a significant impact in communities and other organizations that work to help kids.

To be a part of United Way and gain their support and recognition. Also, Special Olympics will be a major organization to be associated with. This is just to mention a few. There is an endless list of areas that this Alliance will reach.

My hope is to see many people come on board to volunteer and share in this vision. We have started changing lives already, and with everyone's help and support, many more will become a part of this ever growing 'family'.
